Every StarLoom begins with your birth chart.
A birth chart (aka natal chart) is a snapshot of the sky from the exact moment and location you were born. By using your birth date, time, and place, we are able to calculate where the Sun, Moon, planets, and other celestial points were positioned in the sky at that precise moment.
That information becomes the foundation for each individual piece.
Even a difference of just a few minutes can change the placement of the planets and the angles of your chart, which is why the most accurate birth time possible is important. If you don't know your birth time, I can still create your piece, but some placements may need to be omitted or estimated.
Your birth information is used solely to calculate your cosmic blueprint and create your StarLoom—it is never shared with anyone else. No two StarLooms are ever the same—because no two people are.

Every piece is made using authentic natural crystals. Crystal types, colors, shapes, and placements will vary based on availability and artistic vision. No specific crystal is guaranteed unless otherwise agreed upon prior to creation.
If a specific crystal resonates with you, please, let me know in the "notes" section at check-out.

Your Rising Sign (also called your Ascendant) is the zodiac sign that was rising over the eastern horizon at the exact moment you were born.
Unlike the Sun sign, which changes about once a month, the Rising Sign changes approximately every two hours. That's why your birth time is so important—it helps determine the unique layout of your cosmic blueprint.
In astrology, the Rising Sign represents your outward expression, first impressions, and the lens through which you experience the world. It also determines the placement of the twelve houses in your chart, influencing where each planet falls and how its energy is expressed.
Think of it as the doorway to your birth chart. Without an accurate Rising Sign, the rest of the chart cannot be mapped with the same level of precision. If you are unsure of your birth time, we can still create your StarLoom, but some placements may need to be omitted or estimated.
